The Comit? de Mujeres, Patricia Marin is a Project of Union del Barrio that encourages mujeres to take active participation in the struggle for Raza Liberation. As mujeres in the community, whether as students, trabajadoras, amas de casa, we are ALL affected by the racist agendas of minutemen, politicians and the media who portray our people as criminals, terrorists and second class citizens. We must work together to protect our familias and communities.

Following the lead of the strong women of Union del Barrio, we have formed a local committee in Los Angeles. The Comit? de Mujeres, Patricia Marin will hold the first meeting on February 11th (Sunday) at 3:00 p.m. at the offices of KIWA at 3465 West 8th Street (corner with Hobart, a block east of Western). ALL WOMEN ARE WELCOMED and you do NOT have to be a member of Union Del Barrio to participate in the Comit? de Mujeres.

Join us to discuss how Raza women can help to fight for our respect and dignity. Children are welcome, there will be snacks. Contact us at rrc323@gmail.com and 323-860-9870. See our website for more information: http://uniondelbarrio.org/cmpm/index.html
