This is the last day of Boyle Heights exhibit. BH in the 1950's was a highly multicultural neighborhood of Japanese, Mexican, Jewish, Italian and other ethnic groups just east of downtown LA. (It's still there of course.) If you're interested in how things were back then, and crave more than a "Happy Days" version of history, you should check out this show.
This isn't an event per-se, but it's a cool thing to do today, before this show is closed.
