The prescription drug industry is turning into the steal and coal of the new economy. These are the case histories the makers of Remeron and Prozac don't want you to see. The first article argues that Andrea Yates of Clear Lake, Texas, was acting under the influence of the prescription drug Remeron when she killed her five children earlier this year and that her lawyers have good reason to take on the drug industry that fed her the pills instead of copping out and going for the habitual "reason of insanity" plea. Hanan Ashrawi On Israeli Apartheid Palestian activist Ms. Hanan Ashrawi, gave this address at the World Conference Against Racism. This talk, which includes direct quotes from past Israeli leaders, is precisely what the US government wants to silence, continuing the process of demonizing the Palestinian people. Regarding current Isreali leadership, Asheawi reminds us, "Sharon is the same army general who had committed crimes against humanity in such atrocities as the Qibya massacre of 1953, the cleansing of Gaza in 1973, the invasion of Lebanon and the massacres of Sabra and Shatilla of 1982."
