12:03 AM-People are protesting against the war in front of the offices of United States Senator Dianne Feinstein at Santa Monica and Sepulveda in West Los Angeles.
12:06 AM People are starting to block the entrance of Dianne Feinstein offices. At this time there is no police.
12:30AM--7 or 8 people got just arrested for blocking the door of the senator with 7 coffins. The arrestees have been taken to the West Los Angeles station by the LAPD.
12:40 AM--It seems that the arrestees were from a new group called LA Movement .This was the first of a series of actions planned in the next few weeks.
1:40 PM The males and the females have been separated at the West LA Police station. The men will be transfered to the LAPD Pacific division, and the women to the Van Nuys station. The authorities would not give any details about when the arrestees will be transfered.
2:40 PM Senator Dianne Feinstein's press secratary spoke about the incident. Senator Dianne Feinstein's press secretary in DC just stated that neither the Senator, nor her staff had any involvement in the arrests since the building where her office is located also houses other offices. He said that they are aware of the situation, but she will not make any public statements about the incident. This should not be a surprise with her history in supporting the war of terror (remember the Sherman Austin case, where she wrote to the judge and asked for a harsh sentence, charging that his political dissent web page amounted to terrorism).
At 7:50 PM Monday night - Two of the three women that were arrested today in front of Senator Fienstien's office have been released. One is still in jail.
Two of the men have been released.
One man still in jail is said to be facing stiffer charges.
Unclear as to the remaining two arrests
