Nonviolent paper is made from cotton, rice and banana peels, from corn husks, straw, coconut and other nut shells, from cow manure, elephant dung, durian rinds, and fallen leaves.
It need not be made by slaughtering trees.
Paper made from fruit rinds, banana peels, coconut husks, nut shells is the most nonviolent because it does not come from machine harvesting in which small mammals, ground nesting birds, frogs, bees etc are crushed and shredded. In addition fruit papers can reforest the world.
There are hundreds of nonviolent alternatives to tree paper. Tree paper causes drought, floods, mudslides, global heating, destruction of animal habitat, smashing of squirrels and flightless birds, violation of sentient trees whose feelings were proven by Chandra Bose, inventor of the radio, knighted by Queen Victoria.
Cotton paper lasts 500 years, tree paper an average 60 years.
