Police set up a huge perimeter around city hall last night to prevent supporters from joining occupiers in the park.
The perimeter was bounded by Broadway to the 101 freeway to Alameda to 3rd Street. At each blocked street those supporters that were blocked by police gathered and held their protest there in the street.
Pictured here at one such intersection at Aliso and Main St. are cell phone images sent to the LA indymedia newsroom last night. It was near here on Aliso & Spring that people tried to block a police bus coming in with riot units.
