How to find coverage on KPFK

The three main shows covering Occupy Wall Street and Occupy LA and other versions of this new cross-issue protest movement are Sojurner Truth, Beneath the Surface, Uprising, and Indymedia On Air.

To find these shows, you can check out the KPFK archives at:

http://archive.kpfk.org/parchive/index.php

Then, either choose a show from the drop down, or type "occupy" into the search. The search won't get everything because some shows have incomplete or no description.

If someone would link out to specific shows, it would be good. (Tweet them too.)

The KPFK policy is to remove shows from the archive after 90 days, so you may want to download and save these.

Also, remember to donate to KPFK. KPFK is the last station in LA that is almost entirely listener-funded. They take very little money from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting due to the "liberal bias" of KPFK years ago.

(The irony here about the CPB "fairness" rule about bias in public radio is that the FCC got rid of the "fairness doctrine" for private stations in the 80s. The "fairness doctrine" mandated that private broadcasters had to give equal time to competing political candidates.)
