Wikileaks exposes the illusion of the American government objectivity.
Wikileaks leak document of the American Diplomacy in Brazil, done in 2003, in that Dilma Rousseff (new elect President of Brazil and that then acted in the Lula government ) it would have participated in the robbery of the safe of Adhemar de Barros. The source of information is the magazine Veja.
However, at that time of the robbery (that happened in 1969) the magazine Veja didn't do any connection between Dilma Rousseff and this robbery. Nobody linked to the Brazilian right at that time it accused Dilma of having participated in this operation.
The money of Adhemar de Barros that it was stolen had illicit origin. Adhemar de Barros was one of the largest thieves of the Brazilian politics and second some people had dispersed safes for their houses in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. The most probable is that his own people have relieved him of the bale that he carried.
There are decades the magazine Veja became a catalog of products manufactured by companies of American and Brazilian capital in Brazil. The magazine doesn't have any credibility and all know which are the interests Veja defends in an open way (propaganda) or in a veiled way (tendentious and ordered reports).
When serving as instrument of the American party in Brazil and source of the American Diplomacy in the country, Veja helped to create an vicious circle of solemnity-illusion. What doesn't get to be a problem for the Brazilians that dislike the Brazilian American party, but certainly it is something quite serious for the American authorities in the USA that they make decisions with base in information that judge trustworthy and however they are quite distorted.
