The Battle of Surveys and its Effects in the U.S.

Los Angeles—As the Battle of surveys continues in the Philippines, all the camps of the current presidential candidates redoubled their efforts as the 4o days count down to the elections comes winding.

Noynoy Aquino and Mar Roxas is still leading the surveys and seems to pull away as the Villar connection to President Arroyo became more evident with the latest defections from LAKAS-KAMPI.

Bouyed up with these trends, the NoyMar Movement in Los Angeles held a forum in the Immaculate Concection Church in Santa Monica last Wednesday, April 7, 2010.

It was a well attended meeting hosted by no other than former NAFFAA president-founder Loida Nicolas Lewis from New York.

The group served goto to the crowd who came from all-over Los Angeles.

Tropang Villar Revs up

In San Francisco, Tropang Villar – the Villar supporters revs up their activities with fundraisers and other activities. In Los Angeles, they are not bothered with the surveys and says, the real survey will be on the election day.

Different surveys show that Aquino is leading Villar by 12%. But the problem the survey shows that Villar is gaining ground with the Aquino lead remains stagnant. Besides that, the surveys differ with the votes during the actual elections.

Meanwhile the Teodoro campaign will miss vice-presidential candidate Edu Manzano who will attend the wake of his late brother who died here in the United States..

Meanwhile, a non-partisan group election watch dog BANTAY PILIPINAS will be holding a presidential candidates from on April 21 in Los Angeles.

There are only 61,000 OAV in the United States. The 3rd largest after Hongkong and Saudi Arabia.
