we the people

You blame it on the terrorists and never care why they hate us you say they hate our freedom they're just looking for their own

This song goes out to all the good people

my great country has killed

the land of prosperity

the place where the people of the world can go

to be FREE!?

But even the founding fathers got it wrong

keeping men as slaves- gave no rights to their moms

building up the banking institutions and arms

to control the population with money and bombs

Remember native indians?

the peaceful folk with bright red skins

smoking on their peaceful pipes worshiping the sky

until the settlers came along they had enough but wanted it all

genocide of mass proportions from sea to shining sea

Didn't anybody think it was wrong

to kill a race of people just for their ground

the ones they left alive were simply told

assimilate or die

And they didn't stop there

not until the whole world is theirs

sanctions and war from the start

its a small world after all

We the people need to come along

and take away the power that they're clinging on

now they got us fighting two new gulf wars

and wont even tell us what we're fighting for

You blame it on the terrorists

and never care why they hate us

you say they hate our freedom

they're just looking for their own

occupy their desert sands

count your money with bloody hands

look at those that died and find

who the true terrorists are

When was it someone came along

and took away the rights we were founded on

control the world with greed- live and die by the bomb

instead of finding ways to get along

Steal the oil- charge us double

turn their cities into rubble

a million dead who knows what for

the world is sick of this war

You say its the land of the free

everyone's created equally

pursuit of happiness, life, liberty

inalienable rights a necessity

Well you've lost consent of the governed

government has gone destructive

our rights are still self evident

we declare reindependance

not for a state but for ourselves

humanity's all one lets share the wealth

we seen how repressive the state can be

it's time for we the people to finally be free
