Come and sign a petition urging Obama to pass a comprehensive immigration reform. The petition will be delivered to the President by members of the Hispanic Congressional Caucus at teh end of March 2009.
The event is part of Rep. Luis Gutierrez's Family Unity Tour where he visits 17 cities in order to collect petition signatures of US citizens and legal residents who are family or friends of undocumented immigrants.
The petition, which will be delivered to President Obama by members of the Hispanic Congressional Caucus in about two weeks, urges a speedy passage of a comprehensive immigration reform.
Please spread the word about this event to as many people as you can.
The event lasts a couple hours so if you cannot make it at 7 pm sharp, you can still come by later and sign the petition.
There will be testimony by children who have been separated from their parents because of deportation proceedings.
Let's come out in force!
