50 donated computers have been seized so far as volunteers attempt to cross the U.S.-Mexico border with humanitarian aid

Interreligious Foundation for Community Organization/Pastors for Peace, an organization leading over 100 volunteers on the 19th U.S.-Cuba Friendship Caravan has had 50 donated computers seized by U.S. Customs this morning in Pharr, Texas.

The computers along with the rest of the nearly 100 tons of humanitarian aid are destined for Cuba. The participants of the 19th U.S.-Cuba Friendship Caravan are demanding an end to the 47-year-old U.S. blockade against Cuba, as well as the liberation of the "Cuban Five", five Cubans who are being held in U.S. jails for protecting their people against U.S.-government-sponsored terrorism.
