Manila--Mariing pinabulaanan ni Bayan Muna party-list Rep. Satur Ocampo nitong Lunes ang pahayag ni National Security adviser Norberto Gonzales na papalitan niya sa pwesto si Jose Ma. Sison bilang lider ng Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP).
"I have no ambition to replace Prof. Sison, if he is indeed the leader of the CPP, or lead the revolutionary movement as maliciously stated by Gonzales," sabi ni Ocampo.
Una rito, iniulat na sinabi ni Gonzales na tila ipinakikita ni Ocampo ang kanyang liderato sa CPP at New People's Army (NPA) batay sa mga pahayag ng kongresista.
“He sounded very authoritative as if the representative runs the CPP-NPA (and) could be positioning himself to succeed Joma Sison," sabi ng kalihim.
Sinabi ni Ocampo, dating tagapagsalita ng National Democratic Front (NDF), na mas nakatutok siya ngayon sa kanyang trabaho bilang mambabatas. Tinawag niya na “politically paranoid" ang mga pasaring sa kanya ni Gonzales.
"Once again, the politically paranoid national security adviser is putting malice to my factual and analytical statements as one having some knowledge on the GRP-NDF peace process," paliwanag ng kongresista.
Nilinaw din ni Ocampo na ang kanyang pahayag na hindi sasaktan ng NPA ang mga Dutch nationals at diplomats na nasa bansa ay batay sa kanyang alaala sa pinasok na pandaigdigang kasunduan ng NDF sa United Nations.
