After recent ICE raids in downtown Santa Barbara, today I spotted a large white van that was clearly marked "Department of Homeland Security and Border Customs" (This is reliable, seeing as I pulled up next to it at a stoplight). All of the windows were taped off and it appeared to be an ICE van. This is being posted as an update so citizens/activists/immigrants of the area can keep track of its general whereabouts. It was spotted on Hollister and Turnpike headed towards Goleta at 11:15 am on 9 August 2007. The van was identical to the one used in the prior raids about a week and a half ago.
