Highlighting a recent news report from NBC news exposing the use of slave labor to build the US embassy in Iraq

Ultimate disgrace from Iraq yet,

I just watched a shocking news report on the NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams. His report was focused on the building of the new US Embassy in Iraq. The money this is costing and will cost is mind-boggling including a 1 billion dollar a year cost to operate a fortified bunker, in the heart of Iraq, that is the same size as the Vatican city. That was far from the shocking part of the report, it started to talk about possible abuse of the laborers being used. It turns out that they were from the Philippians and they were hired to go to work in Dubai but instead they were brought to Iraq and forced to work their against their will. They were beaten and abused as they were doing the forced labor. This is nothing but old fashioned slavery, United States companies are using slave labor to build the Iraq embassy and they are using your tax money to do it. What is happening to our country? We must somehow get together, be strong and stand up to those who would enslave others in our name. Just picture if you were hired to do some work in Europe some where and when you got off the plane you were forced at gun point to build a new wing on the Kremlin. Would you like it? This story was broken by 2 American contractors who were so appalled that they quit, came home and went public. NBC did not say that this was slavery but what they described was absolutely slavery and we should all be ashamed. jameskurka@hotmail.com
