salute the pilipino workers center for standing against miwon/lapd lies!

pilipino workers center, a miwon coalition member organization, issued a public statement rejecting the miwon position that lapd was "provoked" into attacking the mayday march.

"...from the beginning of the event, (police) were rude and confrontational with the marchers. it seemed very clear that they were looking for any excuse to shut down the event. they seemed angry that thousands of people were coming together to demand justice for immigrants and workers. they say that there were provacateurs that started the melee, but in fact it was the police who began it all."

this is exactly correct. thank you to the pilipino workers center for the courage to openly state the truth, despite the bullying of more "dominant" elements pushing miwon.
