There are reports of an incident this morning with the sheriff helicopter.

Callers report a sheriff helicopter hovered very low over the encampment, low enough to kick up dust and alarm many of the farmers. One caller said that a group of school children that were on a tour of the farm at the time were very frighten by the low flying helicopter.

The farmers see this latest incident has an attempt to terrorize them into leaving the farm. The farmers and their supporters say that they are not intimidated by this and remain committed to stand firm and resist any forced evictions.

Such aggressive actions by the sheriff department are seen as provocative. Complaints have been made to the sheriff department.

Supporters who want to call the sheriff department and urge them not to engage in these kind of scare tactics can call them at (323) 526-5541
