Thread about business closures, effects.
The downtown area was shut down, with few open businesses. Going east, to East LA, many businesses were closed, but a few were open. Once you got out to the eastside suburbs, most businesses were open, but a large number of small ones, mainly mom-and-pop stores and some restaurants, were closed. One shop had a large pro May 1 sign out, though.
