Sick of Racism?



Open letter to people of integrity, I'm writing to you today to ask you to consider some thoughtful ideas about America's borders. I begin with a question that I've been pondering lately. What percentage of illegal aliens who cross our southern borders with Mexico are of Arab descent? The reason I ask is simple, I have never heard of any. So a second question must than be asked, how do terrorists gain access to our mainland? Lets examine this question. Yamsey Yusef who masterminded the first attack on the World Trade centers entered this country on multiple occasions, via commercial airlines and by crossing the Canadian border. The millennium plot to blow up L.A.X. airport in Los Angeles was thwarted at the Canadian border. His know accomplices also crossed back and forth on several occasions from Canada to th U.S. and back. The 9/11 attacks are just as peculiar. Mohammed Atta and all the terrorists from that day came here via commercial airlines and/or across the Canadian border. The day of the Attacks Atta rented a car, crossed the Canadian border into Maine, then flew a commuter airlines to Logan Airport in Boston. He then met up with 3 other hijackers, 2 of which had crossed the Canadian border earlier. The 3rd flew in commercially days before. With all these terrorists coming in from Canada don't you think it's time to round up all Illegal Canadians and deport them right away. We must also clamp down on our northern borders and keep all illegal Canadians out of America! If you think the last couple of sentences sound ridiculous that's because they are. However, when we mention homeland security we focus our attention on stopping Latinos from crossing our souther borders. So I want to go back to my original question,what percentage of Illegals crossing our border with Mexico are of Arab descent? I feel there is something underlying here that should ENRAGE all Americans and it is racism. As long as those crossing our borders are majority white, nobody cares. A lot of paranoid people are trying to startle the rest of us into believing the threat comes from our southern borders. The truth is there are just people who believe that they don't need any more Latinos in thier white America. They speak in platitudes and propaganda, saying things like, they don't speak English so they don't belong here. I say rubbish! When I was growing up Italian Families settled all around me in the greater Boston area. Many had parents and/or grandparents who spoke little or no English.Thier kids, my generation, all spoke English and Italian. I see this happening every day with the Latino families here in L.A. Is there really anyone who believes my friends parents or grandparents should be deported because they don't speak English? Despite all thier language barriers they are all realizing the so called American Dream. It's time for all of us to dream again! Today there all business owners, homeowners and are grounded by a strong commitment to thier families. They enrich America as do all that come here and just want to be a part of the American dream, no matter what language they speak. My own mother's family migrated from the Ukraine years before she was ever born and none of them spoke English! Let me know what U think...... jameskurka@hotmail.com
