Many actions were planned throughout the coming week to put pressure on the mayor’s office and the city council to follow through with their promises to save the farm. It was also announced that an anonymous person donated $500 to help save the farm on Saturday and donations from today’s event was able to match that and more.

After the planning session the entire 14 acre farm was surrounded by lit candles and there was a march around the farm. Police presence was light and the march was peaceful. The farmers still face eviction at midnight Tuesday the 7th unless the mayor or the courts intercede to stop the eviction.
