Tonight the Santa Monica Greens hosted a presentation and fundraiser for the South Central Farm. A short video about the farm was shown.
Representing the farm was Fernando Flores who spoke and took questions from the audience. Jason Neville who helped organize the event personally pledged and challenged others present to match that. Judging from the response the event easily raised hundreds of dollars to support the fight to save the farm.
The LA County Green Party again officially pledged support for the South Central Farmers in terms of real dollars and a commitment to put activists on the ground in defense of the farm should it come to that.
