Volunteers needed for demonstration at the Canadian Consulate in Los Angeles, CA, to help bring awareness about the cruel annual massacres of the Canadian baby Harp seals.

Demonstration in Front of the Canadian Embassy in Los Angeles for the Canadian Baby Harp Seals

Below is information about the demonstration which will be held next Tuesday, February 14, 2006, in front of the Canadian Embassy to protest the annual mass massacre of the Canadian baby Harp seals.

Last year over 300,000 baby Harp seals were massacred for their fur. Many were only weeks old. This happens every year and we want to end it this year before another 300,000 and more will die horrific deaths for their fur.

They are bludgeoned or shot to death. However, over 42% were skinned alive as determined by an independent international team of veterinarians.

Pease wear white clothes if you can (color of the baby seals that are called "whitecoats") so our posters that are in red will stand out.and we will get more attention from people.

Please invite all of your family and friends to join you. Please come even if you can be there for only a short time.

What better way could you spend Valentine's Day than to show your support to end the slaughter of these beautiful and gentle mammals. Thank you for caring.
