Last-Ditch Emergency Protest and Candlelight Vigil to Save Stanley Tookie Williams

Bring Tookie's Death to Gov's Doorstep...Don't Let Him Hide if He Does Not Grant Clemency

WHERE: Governor Schwarzenegger's Brentwood Mansion

WHEN: Monday, December 12th @ 6PM

Directions: 405 Fwy, Exit Sunset Blvd.
West on Sunset 4-5 miles to Mandeville Canyon
North on Mandeville Canyon Rd 1.6 miles to Chalon Rd.

BRING: Your children, signs, and candles....

WHY: As of today Sunday, Governor Schwarzenegger still has not announced his decision about whether or not he will grant clemency and we wants to send him a clear message that the people of
California support clemency for Stan Tookie Williams and do not want him to die.

Should the Gov. not grant clemency we are putting Tookie's death at his doorstep. We are holding the Gov. responsible for ending the hope of tens thousands of school-children across the country who have read Tookie's children's books and have been inspired by his stories to stay out of or leave gangs.

NOTE: There are other protesters who will first go to the Westwood Federal Building on Veteran and Wilshire at 6PM on Monday.
