SANTA MONICA, November 12, about 300 volunteers show up to carry 50 flag draped coffins on a procession from Santa Monica Pier to 3rd Street Promenade and back to Arlington West at the pier.
Four wreaths were laid at the Veterans Monument in Palisades Park where Ron Kovic and the maire of Santa Monica made a call to end of the war in Iraq.
A good numbers of TV crews and photographers from independent and mainstream media were present to cover this event.
