Approximately 20 9/11 Truth activists and concerned individuals from around the area turned up at the corner of Main and Garfield in Alhambra on Sunday morning to draw attention to the glaring inconsistencies, distortions and omissions in the official government version of the events that attempt to explain the tragedy of September 11, 2001.

The primary goal of the vigil and others like it around the country is simple: To build a movement of people and understanding that will demand a real, legitimate and independent investigation into the events of 9/11 and to hold accountable those responsible for the attacks..

Support from the community was sparse but there was very little negative reaction. It appeared at times that the vigil might have actually served to remind passersby that today’s date was September 11.

Simple questions were raised, like:

If Flight 77 crashed into the Pentagon, where is the wreckage? Where are the bodies of those that perished at the Pentagon? If Flight 93 crashed into a wooded field in Pennsylvania, why was the wreckage spread out over an 8-mile area?

How is it possible that WTC Towers I and II were the first two skyscrapers in the history of the world to collapse due to fire?

Why were at least 5 different “war games” which involved simulations of air hijackings and conventional air assaults being run on the morning of 9/11 effectively paralyzing the nations air defense and making it nearly impossible for pilots to intercept the real hijacked planes? Who was in charge of those “war games”?

How is it possible the several of the alleged 9/11 hijackers have been proven to be alive? What happened to the black boxes of the doomed flights?

Why didn’t the official 9/11 Commission address any of these questions?

The vigil in Alhambra was organized by the San Gabriel Valley 9/11 Truth Coalition and was part of a series of events occurring over the 2-day period that marks the fourth anniversary of the events. Some events included film screenings, discussions and other area 9/11 Truth Vigils including those at locations in South Pasadena and West Covina.

The coalition screened the recent 9/11 documentary “Loose Change” at the Rialto Theater in South Pasadena. The film event was a success with over 100 attendees.
