2nd annual Animal Liberation Philosophy and Policy Conference

Conference disusses Queer Liberation, Prison Abolition, Environmentalism, Capitalism, and more, in relation to Animal Liberation. Event will take place Saturday, 23 April, 2005 at Syracuse University in Grant Auditorium. Sunday, 24 April 2005, will be dedicated to State Repression Discourse.

Last year's conference was a great success, and this year's conference is going to be even bigger. It will be taking place on Saturday, 23 April, 2005 at Syracuse University in Grant Auditorium. The day will begin at 9:30 AM and end at 5:40 PM, with a lunch break from 1:00 until 2:30. Panel topics are: Queer Liberation and Animal Liberation United At Last!, Environmentalism and Animal Liberation, Building Bridges with Other Social Struggles, and Prison Abolition and Animal Liberation. Speakers are: pattrice jones, Andy Stepanian, Moe Mitchell, Ashanti Alston, Leslie James Pickering, Maxwell Schnurer, Laura Geonivi, beth puma, Adam Weissman, Matthew Calarco, Marti Kheel, and Aaron Jackson.
