The standards that flight attendants fought so hard to attain have been eroding for over a decade. Now some airlines are trying to use the bankruptcy courts to tear apart the flight attendants contracts but the

flight attendants' through their union are fighting back threatening a nationwide strike unless their demands are met. Ms. Tamuk spoke at a Conference on the Future of the Labor Movement organized by

Queen College Labor Resource Center.
