Everyday from now until November 30, 2004 we must visit or call the secretary of state Kevin Shelly and all the county registrar's offices in Califonia and ask them the current tally of absentee and provisional ballots and how many more ballots have yet to be counted?
Call several times! We can assure you that you will get several different results!
You can request a computer print outs for the districts of the ballot measures or candidates you are following and do so in writing i.e.
By authority of the california public record act and all other applicable legislation, I hereby am requesting copies of the following

Be certain to ask to see the print out which lists the number of votes counted by machine, and the number of votes counted, matching the number of votes counted where there were no signatures on the voter roster. They have to list those figures on a computer print out. Each precinct board must reconcile the numbers of ballots cast versus the number of signature on the precinct roster. It is the belief of many that in precincts where there are high numbers of minorities; there is a tendency for the election board not to reconcile the ballots with the signatures. Then, the precinct roster goes to the registrar their internal employees fill in the numbers. That is where elections can be stolen. You must file an election contest if you want to challenge the results. That is filed in superior court and you must file on time or you loose your right to challege the election results.
