The glaring misconception to arise in the light cast by the bestselling book ‘The Da Vinci Code,’ is that the Gnostic Gospels found in Nag Hammodi, Egypt in 1945 somehow deny the divinity of Yashewah ben Yosef a.k.a. Jesus.
The newly uncovered gospels tell of an in-all-ways mortal human who became the human incarnate in God – God incarnate in the human. The gospels tell of the ultimate potential of the human – which is no less then divinity.
According to the Gnostic Gospels Mary Magdalene, not Simon/Peter was Yashewah’s favored disciple, the one that really got IT.
IT in-all-ways transcends orthodoxy. IT in-all-ways transcends the material.
Because she got IT she was libeled, called a whore by the Church fathers. Those who got IT were the first to be murdered by so-called Christians for being heretics.
The 13-papyrus Nag Hammodi Library was buried to save IT from this first Christian Inquisition. Sixteen hundred years latter the texts were uncovered by Egypians digging for sabash, a kind of fertilizer. There wasn’t a good translation available until the late 1970’s. Only now has the popular success of ‘The DaVinci Code,’ begun to make the public aware of the importance of the 1945 discovery.
Uncensored Yashewah speaks in the sixth saying of ‘The Gospel of Thomas.’
His disciples questioned him and said to him, “Do you want us to fast? How shall we pray? Shall we give alms? What diet shall we observe?”
He said, “Do not tell lies, and do not do what you hate, for all things are plain in the sight of heaven. For nothing hidden will not become manifest, and nothing covered will remain without being uncovered.”
