This Monday, we have our first meeting in the Peace center at 8124 West 3rd St.
The group that has just been formed is called the Los Angeles Solidarity Strikers Organization.
We are trying to launch this group to build a big Solidarity group with the strikers of the supermarkets in which we can mobilize people to the pickets, raise money, pass a petition around and if the group gets big enough we can do a rally.
Alot of people are sympathetic with the strike but their isnt any organizational outlet for people to materialize their sympathies. Hopefully this group can do just that.
Activist should come to the meeting to figure out with everyone else to help the workers win their struggle. If interested email
