Email Davis: As a loyal democrat I'm asking that you resign.

To: Governor@gray-davis.com

Dear Governor Davis,

Please understand that I have nothing against you as the Governor of our State, or as a human being. I am deeply saddened and angered by this Republican-sponsored recall and think that it is nothing more than a conservative agenda fueled by dirty money.

That said, I think this recall has a very high chance of success. The polls are not in your favor. Arnold and his Enron friends will take office if there is an election tomorrow.

What I am asking of you is not an easy thing – I am asking that you resign. You don’t deserve it, you shouldn’t have to do it, but for the sake of our State you need to step down. If you resign today, there is no election tomorrow. It’s that simple.

I truly believe that your resignation is the only way that California will stay in the hands of the Democrats. I know it’s not a good career move, but I’m begging you to carefully consider the greater good of the people. You are, after all, a public servant.

Please consider taking this step before it is too late. Thwart the conservative agenda in California; don’t let their dollars do the voting.

Sincerely,
