right click to save! i cooked up this take off/parody of dean's campaign sign last night . . . could it be the SORE LOSERMAN of '04!?!? it might be rough, but i had to get it out there FAST!!! i thought up the Coward Dean idea during a supermarket brainstorm yesterday pm, and i want credit for it!

What would take it to the next level would be to have a website: http://www.DeanNOT4America.com and post an archive or stories that show how this guy talks a bogus game.
I don't know why real progressives are getting sucked into supporting him. They're not doing their homework. The Dean "people" and organization sometimes come off as evangelists, with party lines like "he's the most progressive" or "he's the one with the most fire" and on and on. What gives? That's such a load of horse pukey. Kucinich is the one that fits that bill (just stating a fact, and yeah, all you anti system folk and folk that point out the reality that the system is rigged are still speaking truth too -- there's more than one truth here so chill out)

Dean is not a
progressive

Given this, and given that we are standing in a period before the final Democrat is selected for the ticket, there is NO argument that can be made to progressives or anyone further left that Dean deserves support. There isn't much difference between Dean and Kerry. Whatever happens between those two and the final picking is almost irrelevant. There's a huge difference between those two and Kucinich.
Kucinich has his problems, and those that point out the travails of supporting the Democrats are also on target. But your snooty post doesn't change the facts. Dean is not a progressive. Dean isn't against global US Empire unrestrained -- and the Pentagon vacuum cleaner that is a disastrous form of corporate welfare and destroyer of our local communities.
So, you go and support Dean, while others look at deeper problems in our society (and without the lying spin that Dean puts out about himself and his platform). Mind you, if Dean gets the ticket, I will either vote for him or for Green. But while the fight for the ticket remains, even greens should support Kucinich because he's pretty much a green -- or support the selection of Kucinich while at the same time supporting whatever the Green party does for the prez race (you can do that in many ways before the final democrat is selected -- binary thinking is the bane of the activist community, so don't fall into it)

$60+ Billion per year for Iraq that Bush LIARs don't even put into the bill

$30+ Billion for Atomic Energy, Intelligence agencies not officially in $369 and
more

$15+ Billion for the various corporate and university support programs for
research that are actually military

$474 Billion for the military industrial complex (and you can add more)
Price UN estimates to feed all humans that are starving for a
year?
$30 Billion
Ability of any other nation to threaten the United States with military defeat? None
Ability of any other nation to not have deterrent from US conventional forces? Non-existent
Only real threats to US mainland? Terrorism, asymmetric warfare, and proliferation of WMD?
How is US helping to stop proliferation of WMD? IT'S NOT. The US is creating a world where WMD proliferates; the US pays shit worth of money to help pull in Russia's loose nukes and material; US builds new nukes and plans for the total domination of space as a new means of weapons growth and corporate subsidy, which will lead to a new arms race and the creation of China as the next "evil empire" in under ten years
You want to end terrorism? You want Americans to be safe and end the threat of nuclear termination of the entire planet? Our military expenditures are NOT procuring this reality. Our military expenditures are CREATING this reality.
You think Dean addresses any of this? Bull pucky.... it's way over his head and he's not interested in responding to the challenge.
Kucinich at least knows about these dynamics and is interest in fighting this fight - it's literally a fight for the survival of humanity in the face of global ignorance and blind greed.
