Sen. John Edwards, presidential candidate, knows doublespeak all too well.

John Edwards, speaking on CNN right now, is engaged in the most obvious hogwash doublespeak.
When asked earlier, as you can read on Commondreams, his opinion on jailing Marijuanna patients, he had no problem with it. But now, after the backlash, he has said he would offer up a study. My question is, how many more years do we have to study it?
On the necessity to jail and prosecute those who financed Sadam and Osama, namely Rumsfeld, he dodged hard. Although he said he didn't take a backseat to anyone on it, he refused to say whether or not they were liable.
On a good note, he did say he'd sign the ICC treaty, but that's a shot in the dark until Republicans don't have the senate anymore.
On judges, he said that, "They say what you want to hear" He spoke of enforcing law and constitution. He said he supported Roe. But overall, he looks like a younger cross between Kennedy and Bush, and it's not convincing. Especially the wishy washy drug policy.
