"War, Dissent & Civil Rights" a night to learn about war, police brutality and other issues.
This coming Tuesday (the 22nd) Sonali Kolhatkar(host of KPFK's Morning Show) & other special guests will be speaking at Pasadena City College. The event will be in the Lillian Vosloh Forum and will go from 7:30pm-10:00pm. She will discuss the police attack on campus peace protesters and how it is related to other events regarding the U.S. war in Iraq. We will be showing video footage of what happened AND there will be tables at the event from many different groups who support things like women's rights, immigrant's rights, peace/anti-war and more. So please come and check it out, it's sure to be a great event!
