Sunday I'll be shooting video for possible inclusion in the "Web of Dissent" project. If you are planning anything fun & interesting let me know.

"Web of Dissent" is a film about the internet and the camera, and how activist filmmakers are using them to challenge the mainstream media. Thousands of courageous people around the world are now using their cameras on the front lines, documenting protests, civil disobedience and other creative forms of political dissent. "Web of Dissent" will show who these activist filmmakers are and how they use the new technology to make their voices heard. Our plan for this film is that it will be screened widely throughout the world in festivals, theatres, television and of course, the web.

We need a number of filmmaker / videographer teams of two to shoot footage of the anti-war movement. Both people would have video cameras. One person would be the photographer / subject of the film. He or she would go out on a regular basis, during the war, and shoot the most dramatic and unique demonstrations in their city either with live video webcasting or with videotape for a future web download. The other person would shoot / document the first person in action, along with behind the scenes images and interviews with that person. The footage of both people will then be combined, along with footage from a number of other teams in key cities around the world.
