Government Intervention Halts Human Progress

From the book "Julian Simon and the Triumpth of Energy Sustainability" 2000. (They haven't killed any scientists lately, guess the war is keeping them busy)

Julian Simon was a great scientist. He said the government should get out of our private lives. That people will always improve their conditions, that they create more than they tear down, and we have nothing to worry about. He says we have 15 times the oil than estimates, that natural oil reserves are 14% greater than 5 decades ago. He says students will look back and be amazed at the government intervention in markets that held back human progress and encouraged the thinking of the false prophets of doom and gloom (Gore and Greens and other stupid ones, that don't look past the government propaganda, since they went to government-run schools, but too stupid to figure that out - brainwashed and dangerous to humanity). Now look at the mess they put us in!
