"Plainly For Peace" Citizens for World Peace is calling on all Academy Awards Ceremony participants who oppose a war on Iraq to dress "Plainly for Peace" (jeans, t-shirts, tennies) on Oscar night, March 23, 2003.

We also encourage each Oscar recipient or speaker to end each speech with a brief antiwar statement (i.e., No War On Iraq!, Peace., Remember the Children.)
Academy Awards Night Peace Vigil Citizens For World Peace call on all global citizens to participate in an Academy Awards Peace Vigil before, during, and after the Academy Awards ceremonies on Sunday, March 23, 2003, in the city of Hollywood, California, U.S.A. We'll meet at the corner of Hollywood Blvd. and Highland Center, by the Kodak Theatre, at 4 p.m. Bring signs with large, colorful print showing our opposition to a war on Iraq.
