Why didn't the National Laywers Guild help the people getting arrested?

I was at the protest on Saturday when the breakaway march went down. Mostly anarchist were invovled in this, I heard Jim Lafferty was supposed to coordinate peacekeepers, Legal observers, etc. to watch the breakaway march and make sure that the cops did not attack the protestors.

but no legal observers came around, later on I heard that Jim lafferty from NLG totally ignored the whole thing and just avoided it, but his JOB is to actually help people who are invovled in civil disobediance.

this is the 3rd time the NLG has screwed anarchist within the LA area when it comes to being beaten up, arrested and attacked. What the hell is wrong with your organization? do you only support ANSWER and the rest of the vanguard sectarian brigade? or do you try and help all protestors?

Please let me know so I know who I can trust next time im at a protest.

Maybe Jim Lafferty and the NLG should spend less time crying about red-baiting, and instead do what they are supposed to. Actually legal observing and helping those attacked and jailed by police.
