Come prepared. How to give input during this organized forum.
There will be four panels, with a moderator, each focusing on a different
area of industry and rules. There will be big honchos and public interest
voices. We've been pitching some public interest voices to her but she has
not confirmed those names yet - which is worrisome. My understanding is that
questions will be taken from the audience, written down, and then the
moderator will read them and address them to the panelists so that there is
no direct back and forth. I don't know yet when commissioners will speak. It
would be great to have people there especially to applaud and support Copps
and possibly to sound off when a conservative commissioner speaks.
To my knowlege, there will be no open mic. It may be on CSPAN and it may be
streamed.
