LOS ANGELES -- Two former actors on television's "America's Most Wanted" pleaded guilty Wednesday to having sex with a 14-year-old girl at an abused children's shelter.

Cristian Saliadarre, 28, and Anthony Alvarez, 27, pleaded guilty to an amended complaint of unlawful sexual intercourse with a person under 16, said prosecutor Melinda Murray.

In return, prosecutors dropped charges of sodomy and oral copulation with a person under 16.

Authorities said the men struck up a conversation with the girl in January 2001 while shooting a television segment in an alley next to "Children of the Night," a shelter for sexually abused teens and former prostitutes.

They said Saliadarre climbed through a window and had sex with the girl in her dormitory room. Alvarez then encouraged the girl to have sex with him in the alley.

The men were sentenced to five years of probation and a year of counseling, fined $5,000 and ordered to perform 1,000 hours of community service.
