Merry Meet All,

Below is a partial story that should concern us all. I live in northern Ventura County where you can see firsthand

what oil drilling can do to the land. Personally I am very against this. What this proposal is for is to Expand what

is Already being done. This could cause serious damage to

the Forest, as a National Forest, it is our Forest

land. On the LPNF link below there is a pdf you can print out and mail to the Forest Service. This will get much

more action then any email one could. As the Government frankly do not pay attention to email campaigns, as

one person could put up to 20 different email addy's, and they know this.

Anyone in the central to southern California coastal to inland area's should look at this and respond in some

fashion. And frankly, the Forest Service is asking us to do so.

Bright Blessings

Oil & Gas Drilling in the Los Padres, National Forest

The Forest Service, under pressure from the Bush

Administration, is attempting to open up nearly a

million acres of wildlands in the Los Padres National Forest,

California to new oil and gas drilling. Your comments are

needed to ensure no new leases are allowed, and to urge

existing oil and gas operations be considered for closure.

For more information go to the two following

web sites. The partial story above came from the second
