Inauguration protests were successful today

Inauguaration protests in Washington, D.C., were successful today, forcing Bush to step down in favor of Ralph Nader, who was sworn in by Chief Justice Rhenquist. Nader's first official act upon returning to the White House was to pardon Native American imprisoned activist Leonard Peltier. "Most Americans are in favor of pardoning people convicted of murdering two FBI agents in the line of duty," said newly-sworn in President Nader. "It's going to be a fruitful four years for progressive activists," he continued. "They have always hade power, they have power, and they will continue to have power."
