Trying to verify something ...
Hey all --
On the big concert-turned-police riot thing that happened on Monday, I heard reports of protestors using slingshots to hurl metal balls at police officers (specifically, I heard this on C-SPAN. I'm not sure if it was reported elsewhere). Now this is exactly the kind of ridiculous bs that I would expect the police to make up to justify their actions (especially since not a single police officer was hurt), but I just want to make sure. Was anyone there? Did anyone see anything like this happening?
