Editorial outlining why voting for Nader is not a wasted vote.

Ralph Nader is rapidly entering the national political consciousness as a force to be reckoned with during the 2000 Presidential campaign. Having announced his candidacy early this spring, Nader had been receiving, at best, spotty coverage from the national media. However, after barnstorming all over the country, receiving the nomination of the Green Party, and consistently polling over five percent nationwide, his campaign has become a serious topic for discussion this election season.

The main question that is being bandied around is whether Nader is a spoiler who is ultimately going to tip the election to George W. Bush by taking progressive votes away from Al Gore. Gore is taking this seriously and has just hired an aide to help him deal with Nader
