Today, there are two sides on the Iraq War debate; on the left there is Brian Moore, with Socialist Party USA and Peace and Freedom Party, and on the right there are the Democrats and Republicans. Brian Moore recently received the nomination for president by the Socialist Party USA; during the party’s National Convention, in St Louis, Missouri, Moore put the line in the sand, “immediate withdrawal from Iraq and Afghanistan.”
Gasoline: More Pain At The Pumps (tags)
Within the past five months, since November 2006, the average driver is paying an additional $42 per month for gasoline and more than $100 per household. Families are finding it difficult to meet household expenses and are cutting back on weekend activities and vacation plans. The higher gasoline prices are driving up inflation nationally and are affecting the cost on consumer goods and services.

The Mid-Term Elections provided an indication of the great unrest and dissatisfaction that people nationwide have with America’s present leadership. Americans appear to be riding the fence between the Republican and Democratic Parties, and voters are uncertain about landing on either side of the fence.
