Our Military Complex and the Bush Administration has pounded into our brains that "they hate us for our freedom". In foriegn countries, the news is not that the US has "freedoms" that are detrimental to other countries. Their news reports are on subjects such as the violations of the Geneva Convention by the US. Their news reports are on subjects such as "Since 1991, the United States has staged four wars using depleted uranium weaponry, illegal under all international treaties, conventions and agreements....".

It seems that there are more than HALF A MILLION U.S. TROOPS ALREADY SUFFERING FROM DEPLETED URANIUM IN THE UNITED STATES, ALONG WITH THEIR FAMILIES.

BRITISH and American coalition forces are using depleted uranium (DU) shells in the war against Iraq and deliberately flouting a United Nations resolution which classifies the munitions as illegal weapons of mass destruction. DU contaminates land, causes ill-health and cancers among the soldiers using the weapons, the armies they target and civilians, leading to birth defects in children.
