America is in deep doo doo! It goes beyond the Wall Street-induced financial meltdown. David Swanson’s “Daybreak” book is a wake-up call and a plan for “Citizen Power” action. The Bush-Cheney Gang is gone, but President Obama acts like he is serving out Dubya’s third term. How presidential power was enlarged and the Congress collapsed is good to know. However, how to fight to get our country back from these usurpers, is even more important.

The horrific Iraq War, launched by the Bush-Cheney Gang, is now in its fifth year, with no end in sight. Nevertheless, there were some stouthearted souls inside both the governments of the U.S. and the UK, (Denmark and Australia, too), who tried to expose the lies of the wire pullers. In “Dissent: Voices of Conscience,” co-authors Col. (Ret.) Ann Wright and Susan Dixon tell their compelling stories. It’s current history and a great read, too.
The Baltimore Examiner Is Wrong About the Iraqi War (tags)
On July 11, 2007, the Baltimore Examiner published an editorial cheerleading a continuation of the Iraqi War and propping up the conflict’s main instigator, the liar-in-chief, President George W. Bush. The Examiner insisted: “[Bush] is right on Iraq and that he deserves America’s support.” The Examiner is wrong! Bush warrants impeachment for lying the country into the war and a federal prison cell next to his partner-in-crime--V. P. Dick Cheney!
