The final print edition of Britain's “progressive”, “pro-democracy” newspaper “The Independent” has been published on March 26th, 2016. It is worth remembering that with the launch of NATO’s genocidal wars on Libya and Syria in 2011, the long-discredited “anti-war” facade of “The Independent” had totally collapsed; despite the highly deceptive propaganda rhetoric of its gatekeeper “journalists” such as Robert Fisk.
