Army Cpl. Luis Enrique Tejeda, a Bradley fighting vehicle driver with the Company A, 1st Battalion, 6th Infantry Regiment, died Sept. 30 from injuries received during a roadside bomb blast in Hit, Iraq.

Almazan was killed in action Aug. 27 while on a combat patrol in this city of 30,000 in Iraq’s Al Anbar province. His platoon was on patrol to clear the city’s streets of improvised explosive devices, deadly roadside bombs used by insurgents to target coalition and Iraqi forces, the day he was killed.
Michael Estrella, a Local Marine Killed in Iraq, Honored (tags)
Relatives, friends and supporters bid their last farewell to Marine Cpl. Michael Estrella in emotional services Friday. Estrella, 20, a 2003 Hemet High School graduate, was killed June 14 in combat in Iraq, the 2,500th member of the U.S. military to die in that country since the war began, according to Marine officials.
