First Time in History; Democrat Cuts Social Security with Chained CPI (tags)
The upcoming cuts to Social Security are being done by a Democrat President who is supposedly the party of the elderly, the disabled, veterans and the poor. The cuts to Social Security under President Obama include the "chained CPI" that would reduce the regular cost of living increases to the checks each year depending upon the rate of inflation. There is a bipartisan effort to block the latest Social Security cuts being led by Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont who has a petition on his website telling Pres. Obama "NO CUTS to Social Security!"

2nd Drone Survey! Answer 5 Questions! January 27, 2013 (tags)
President Barack Obama is Commander in Chief of the United States Military. The Central Intelligence Agency is NOT part of the United States Military; but, the C.I.A. is ordering the deployment of most of the missile strikes from un-manned computer controlled Drones. Therefore, under whose authority are these strikes taking place? If the United Nations investigation, which is currently going on, proves that the U.S.A. committed "war crimes", then does President Obama avoid responsibility for authorization of these drone strikes under Separation of Powers clause in the U.S. Constitution?
United Nations is Investigating the Foreign Policy of the United States: Killer DRONES ! ! (tags)
The United Nations started an investigation of the "foreign policy" of the United States of America because President Obama has been authorizing killer drone strikes deploying missles allegedly aimed at "terrorists" but which also are killing children and innocent civilians in foreign countries under the guise of fighting the War on Terrorism; and simultaneously President Barack Obama has been violating the sovereign rights of foreign countries by aiming un-manned computer controlled drone missle strikes at them when the U.S. Congress has not officially declared War. President Obama thinks that he has legal precedence because previous U.S. President George Bush got away with this behaviour.

We Want Some Facts From President Obama on his Inaugeration Day February 2013! (tags)
President Barack Obama, will you please provide us with some "transparency" and tell us exactly how many "terrorists" have been killed with U.S. Military Un-Manned Drone Strikes, and then how many CHILDREN and innocent civilians have been killed with drone strikes; and then, which number is larger? After you Swear your Oath of Office on the Holy Bible, Mr. President Barack Obama, will you please tell us the truth? Isn't it true that MORE children and innocent civilians have been killed by drone strikes than "terrorists"?

Stop Killing Children with U.S. Military Drone Strikes! (tags)
Please sign this White House petition to stop killing children and innocent civilians in countries like Afghanistan with Un-Manned U.S. Military Drone Strikes. Remember, it's not just about the war they tell you about, it's about the war on drugs, the war on the best marijuana seeds that come from Afghanistan, and the "threat" that if marijuana is legalized in the U.S.A., that countries like Afghanistan will compete with Mexican and Canadian BC bud. But guess what? A lot of BC bud comes from Afghanistan seeds. Can you IMAGINE if U.S. Drones were striking Mexico or BC Canada? Show some compassion for children worldwide and sign this petition to stop DRONE strikes! http://wh.gov/UKpQ Isn't it bad enough that Los Angeles has all those helicopters flying overhead?

U.S. Navy $176+ Million Unmanned Drone Crashed in Maryland Swamp (tags)
One would think for $176+ million we could get a drone that would fly without crashing into a Maryland swamp? Amazing how when Republican politicians grouse about the deficit they forget to mention how much those unmanned drones cost and how poorly they function. Then there's that 17% civilian casualites that just keeps pissing off occupied people enough for them to give up their families and their lives to become terrorists. Sounds like a cycle for perpetual warfare at the expense of the U.S. taxpayers for the sole benefit of the military-industrial complex..

Several Reasons to Oppose Obama's Use of CIA Drone Strikes (tags)
Despite promises of "change" from the GW Bush regime foreign policy of interventionism, President Obama has chosen to follow the path of his predecessor GW by continuing the use of CIA drones to attack terrorist and "accidental" civilian targets. By killing innocent civilians along with their targets, CIA drones increase anger and thus aid in recruitment to terrorist organizations ("blowback"), thereby making more enemies and justification of an expensive military strategy that only benefits military weapons contractors.

New War Rumors: U.S. Plans To Seize Pakistan’s Nuclear Arsenal (tags)
"“The free-wheeling access to US covert military and intelligence operatives, both officials and private contractors, is another destabilising factor that we seem to be unable or unwilling to check. And now there are the NATO incursions into our territory and targeting of even our military personnel, which shows how servile a state we are living in at present. As the war in Afghanistan, the largest and longest in the world, proceeds with record casualties among civilians and combatants alike on both sides of the Afghan-Pakistani border, plans are afoot to further expand the war into Pakistan and to threaten Iran as well. Comparisons to Washington’s war in Indochina have been mentioned. But Pakistan with its 180 million people and nuclear weapons is not Cambodia and Iran with its population of over 70 million is not Laos."
Justice Dept. Assinations and Drone Attacks (tags)
"Between our area and Waziristan is an 8 hour journey. The drone attack happened at night time and we all knew about it by the following morning. People who had witnessed the attack had come to tell us and described what they saw of the remnants and damage in the aftermath. They said the attack was so severe that they could not even distinguish the bodies from one another- even the bones of the people were completely blown apart. The dead were completely unrecognisable. My brother in law’s coffin was tightly sealed and we were not allowed to open it to view anything. We had the coffin with us for 30 minutes before it was taken away for burial." "In fact the papers filed by the Justice Department attempting to quash the case argue that the court system should have absolutely no oversight over the administration’s sudden, bizarre claim that it can assassinate any American citizen it wants on the basis of national security, arguing that such issues are “for the executive branch of the government to decide rather than the courts.”
Obama v Wikileaks + Nixon v Pentagon Papers = War Criminals (tags)
In 1971, with the publication of the Pentagon Papers, Republican Nixon and his predecessor, Democrat Johnson, were exposed as war criminals in their massacre of 5 million Vietnamese, and eventually 1 million Cambodians and 58,000 Americans, and thousands of other people, for their war of anti-communism in Vietnam. The outrage was so great by 1968 that Johnson did not run for a second term. Now we have Wikileaks, exposing the war crimes of Democrat Obama and Republican Bush in Afghanistan, one of the poorest, most illiterate countries in the world, where the people are subject to US remote controlled drone attacks and daily killings on the ground to get the Caspian Sea oil, minerals and be poised to attack the biggest mineral prize, Russia. Meanwhile the US Congress, Democrats and Republicans, just voted overwhelmingly for more money to kill Afghans and anyone else disliked by US imperialism.

Drones: A slam-dunk weapons system or our ticket to hell? (tags)
"Whatever the short-term gains from introducing drone warfare in these past years, we are now locked into the 24/7 assassination trade - with the US's own set of non-suicide bombers on the job into eternity. This may pass for sanity in Washington, but it's surely helping to pave the road to hell. Haven't any of these folks ever seen a sci-fi film? Are none of them Terminator fans? Are they sure they want to open the way to unlimited robot war, keeping in mind that, if this is the latest game in town, it won't remain mainly an American one for long. And just wait until the first Iranian drone takes out the first Balochi guerrilla supported by American funds somewhere in Pakistan. Then let's see just what we think about the right of any nation to summarily execute its enemies - and anyone else in the vicinity - by drone. Is this actually what we Americans want to be known for? And if we let this happen, and General Atomics is working double or triple shifts to turn out ever more, ever-newer generations of robot warriors, while the nation suffers 10.2% unemployment, who exactly will think about shutting them down?
